Magical Minis Art began in 2018 when Beth found herself in a small, colorless corporate workspace that inspired her to create tiny art for small spaces to liven up her surroundings. A proponent of sustainable business and living, Beth creates only on wood or metal, using found or gifted objects as much as possible in her work. This philosophy not only keeps things out of landfills, it also results in one-of-a-kind art for the miniature enthusiast. She also produces commissions in many themes and enjoys the challenge of keeping each piece as sustainable as possible while also fulfilling the requests of her customers. Beth's award-winning work has appeared in multiple juried gallery exhibitions in Washington State, her piece "Plague Year 2" took home the top prize in Small Artisan Works at Edmonds Arts Festival in 2023. She also won Third Place (2022) and Honorable Mention (2024) at Mountlake Terrace Friends of the Arts, both in the Miniatures category.

They combine their separate works through collaboration to create vibrant, thought-provoking, and one-of-a-kind art pieces.
Bill Grader is an accomplished sculptor, wall artist, and furniture designer who works primarily with wood, driftwood, and a variety of mixed media. His innovative approach incorporates natural stones, repurposed metal elements, plastic toy and model parts, and found objects, all of which he transforms into compelling sculptures and functional art pieces. Bill’s work is characterized by his exceptional ability to see artistic potential in materials that would otherwise be discarded. By reimagining and recontextualizing these elements, he imbues each creation with a new narrative and history, giving old objects a fresh life and purpose. Bill earned his Bachelor of Arts in Art from Seattle Pacific University, where he developed his distinctive artistic style and passion for environmental and conceptual art.
Sharon Grader is an abstract painter and mixed-media artist whose work is fueled by a deep passion for exploring texture, form, and color. She specializes in encaustic painting, abstract compositions, and mixed-media techniques, often working with found objects, dyed silk, rusted paper, encaustic monoprinting, sumi ink, watercolor, oil paints, and cold wax. Sharon’s artistic process is intuitive and experimental, allowing her to push the boundaries of traditional painting while embracing the unpredictable nature of her materials. A committed lifelong learner, Sharon continuously expands her artistic knowledge through study and practice, focusing on mark-making, asemic writing, and printmaking. She is also an avid teacher, sharing her expertise through workshops and courses nationally and locally. Ellen Kenny started ice skating at age 9. She dreamed of winning competitions and skating in an ice show. She passed her Gold Figure and 7th Figure tests with easy! And then she got to skate in not one, not two, but three ice shows - including the only one ever held at Seattle's Paramount Theatre. We all know that every skater needs to sparkle. That's where Swarovski crystals come into the picture. It began with skate costumes. When the pandemic hit, she knew she needed a sparkly face mask. Naturally, everyone else wanted one too. And a business was born.
Post-pandemic, with no masks to adorn, Ellen turned to jewelry. She found that light-weight leather makes an excellent backdrop for her crystals. She hand-cuts all kinds of shapes, then adorns them with sparkle. Ellen's leather and crystal jewelry can now be found in various shops in the region and Alaska. "My main focus is to create different jewelry that people love and won't find just anywhere," she says.

Randall P. Haller grew up in Edmonds and has always been interested in the flora and fauna of the Puget Sound. He studied Marine Biology at Western State and has collected many different specimens of seaweed that he has made pressings of. The ocean is beautiful- and seaweed is one of our natural resources that is in abundance and underutilized. He has decided to digitally rework some of his favorite specimens to share with all of you.
Nikol's SeaSoaked Skin Co. was born from the love of the sea, its everlasting beauty and natural, healing powers. This inspiration came from being raised out on the water in beautiful Alaska, even though she now resides in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest. But experiencing the power of seaweed first started in 2007 after she took her first seaweed soak during a trip to Ireland. She has been hooked ever since and continued studying advanced organic formulation to create SeaSoaked Skin and to spread the word about this gently powerful and beneficial water plant. She wanted to make skincare products and seaweed soaks into a daily ritual, not only for herself—but for others as well.

BethAnn Lawson is a modern-impressionist painter who lives and works in Seattle, Washington. Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, she was taught by and is heavily influenced by her surrealist painter-father, who was a founding member of the San Francisco Street Artist Association. After graduating from the Institute of Design in San Francisco, she moved to Seattle and spent over three decades as a textile designer, graphic designer and illustrator, but returned to her love of painting after the passing of her father in 2011.
BethAnn's art embraces modern compositions—cityscapes, people, and landscapes. She uses the color black strategically to anchor the compositions, creating bold contrasts that deliver a contemporary edge, combining a sense of modernity, perspective and depth.
Up close, the paintings offer a slightly abstract view, drawing viewers in with intricate details that unravel and come into focus as they step back from the work. BethAnn often hides secret shapes and messages within, but also deliberately leaves spaces for the viewer's imagination to weave in their own narratives. Her show at Vie & Vin includes a few botanicals, harkening back to warmer days when the vineyards back home (Napa, California) were in bloom.
